Message: Duane Priddy joined Dow Chemical in 1970 after receiving a Ph.D. from Michigan State University. While at Dow he rose to the level of Principle Scientist. Before his retirement, Dow presented him with a lifetime achievement award. In 2001 the ACS-PMSE Division awarded Duane Priddy Fellow status. In 2008 the Society of Plastic Engineers awarded him Fellow status as well. Following his retirement from Dow he started Plastic Expert Group and Plastic Failure Labs. Over the past 12 years Duane Priddy has provided failure analysis and consulting services on the failure of plastic and composite materials to over a hundred different companies and law firms.
