Program Co-Chairs

Members of the Program Committee are responsible for suggesting organizing symposia at ACS National Meetings. We seek a diversity of disciplines and especially members of the Polymer Division who will bring a fresh perspective to programming. If you are interested, please contact one of the current Chairmen for more information.

Abstract Submission

Detailed instructions

Starting with the Spring 2015 meeting in Denver, the PACS system for Abstract submission for National ACS meetings has been replaced with  MAPS (Meeting Abstracts Programming System).

POLY requires a GRAPHICAL ABSTRACT (abstract plus a TOC-like figure) for all submissions.  See details.

A POLY poster and oral abstract should include title, authors, affiliations, abstract text, and key figure. Required word count is 150 and 250 words (figure is equal to 70 words).

Abstracts should be submitted through MAPS available at the ACS meetings page . Abstract submitters will be recognized through their ACS ID and password, which will provide easier tracking of individual submissions for the user.  Abstracts will be maintained under the ACS user ID information.

MAPS Step by Step Guide provided by POLy Program Chairs

Preprint Submission is no longer required

As of September 2012, POLY does not require a preprint for oral and poster submissions to the ACS National Meetings.  POLY does require a GRAPHICAL ABSTRACT (abstract plus a TOC-like figure) for all submissions.  This can be input directly via MAPS.
