CALL FOR PAPERS!

You are invited to participate in a Symposium on "Stimuli Responsive Polymers" at the ACS National Spring Meeting in New Orleans, LA (April 6-10, 2008).

The objective of this symposium is to bring together established experts, scientists at the beginning of their careers, and students from different disciplines, to share most up-to-date research focused on the design, synthesis, processing and application of stimuli-responsive polymers. We are soliciting contributions from all areas of research that involve stimuli-responsive polymers, including but not limited to:

- Mechanoresponsive Materials
- Responsive Polymers for Bio-Applications
- Polymers with Unusual Sensing Capabilities
- Polymers that Respond to Electromagnetic Radiation.

Abstracts and preprints are due on October 28 and have to be submitted through the OASYS website: http://oasys.acs.org/acs/235nm/oasys.htm.

A template for the 2-page POLY preprint can be downloaded at: http://uweb.txstate.edu/science/polymerpreprints/.
