Proposal Instructions for Application to Host

POLY Division Biennial Graduate Student Conference

1.      The purpose of these instructions is to ensure all interested applicants apply to host the biennial POLY graduate student conference in a uniform manner.

2.      Proposals will be accepted from all interested universities and must follow the format discussed herein.

3.      Proposals received by May 15, 2008 will be considered by the POLY Executive Committee at their next meeting. Late applications will be considered until the successful applicant is identified.

4.      Proposals are limited to two pages.

5.      Proposals should be submitted to Joe Pickel electronically at:  pickeljm@ornl.gov and will be reviewed by the POLY Executive Committee. 

6.      A two-page proposal template follows and is required for all applications.
