Advances in Polyolefins
September 29 - October 1, 1997
Napa Valley, CA
The Polymer Division of the American Chemical Society will hold a workshop on the theme "Advances in Polyolefins" September 29 - October 1, 1997. It will feature recent advances in catalysis, processing, mechanical behavior, and applications of polyolefins. The meeting will highlight industrial research and will feature ample time for extensive discussion. The invited speakers and discussion leaders have been drawn from industrial and academic laboratories, primarily the United States and Europe. Each presentation will be approximately 30 minutes followed by a 15 minute discussion. Contributed papers are encouraged. A poster session will be held to allow for presentations of current research findings by meeting participants. The meeting is intended to be an important fundamental conference on a technologically important subject. The preliminary program for the meeting is outlined in this brochure. Further definition of the exact research topic will be forthcoming and additional information on the conference can be obtained by contacting J. E. McGrath.

Registration
The registration fee has been set at $575 for Members of the Division of Polymer Chemistry and $625 for Non-Members ($275 Student Members, $300 Student Non-Members). There is a $150 fee for Non-Participating Guest that may accompany you. Written cancellation or registration after August 29, 1997 will cost an additional $50. In addition to handout material, the fee includes meals, receptions, breaks, and a banquet as listed on the brochure.
