Invitation & General Information

In the fall of 1997, the ACS Division of Polymer Chemistry sponsored the first "Advances in Polyolefins" Workshop, which brought together national and international experts in this field from both industry and academia. Based on the unqualified success of that first workshop, a second one has been planned for October 24-27, 1999, in Napa, California.

"Advances in Polyolefins II" will integrate catalysis, characterization, processing, mechanical behavior, as well as new and expanding applications for polyolefins, in a conference format that will encourage informal discussion. Although the lecture portion of the program is now complete, individuals interested in participating in the POSTER SESSION are encouraged to contact Paul Deck, Dept. of Chemistry, Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA 24061, 540-231-3493, Fax: 540-231-8517, pdeck@chemserver.chem.vt.edu.
