The Polymer Division co-sponsored the Symposium "Macromolecules in the 21st 
Century." Stan Israel and Joe Salamone represented the Division.

A special issue has just been published in JPS 42(3), 2004. Eberhard Borsig and 
Pavol Hrdlovic are the guest Editors. The meeting was also summarized in an 
article by the Editor of Polymer News, Jerry Kirshenbaum.
