Abstract Submission and Presentation Guidelines

Presentations

A book of abstracts for presentations and posters will be distributed at the workshop to all paid registrees. Abstracts will be required for all posters and oral presentations. Speakers and poster presenters are asked to submit a ½ page abstract electronically. A 12-point Times font and single spacing are preferred.  Abstracts must be emailed to pickeljm@ornl.gov with “NGPRC Abstract submission” in the subject line.

All presentations will be grouped by theme. Thematic areas will include: Biomaterials, Synthesis and Characterization of Novel Materials, Nanotechnology, Polymer Physics, and General Papers.

 

Oral Presentations

Oral presentations will be 20 min in length with a short question/answer session. Presentations should be saved in PowerPoint format on a USB key or CD.  A computer and projector will be located in each lecture hall.

 

Poster Presentations

The poster session will be part of the Tuesday night activities.  Dimensions of posters will be limited to 48” height and 48” width.
