Message: It is an honor to be nominated for the 2006 Vice-Chair of the Poly Division. This is an important position that has strong impact on the future growth of the Division and welfare of the fellow members. If elected for this important position, I’ll carry out my responsibilities as expected by the Poly Division guidelines. With a strong foundation that is already in place, we need to grow our Division steadily over time, bring new programs/symposia/workshops in emerging frontiers of Polymer Science that is beneficial to the community, aware of the environmental issues of the new technologies, and articulate the advancements and advantages of Polymer Science to younger generations who will make the difference. It is up to us to face the challenges and ride the opportunities in taking our Division to greater heights.
